Past Present And Future

We were founded in 1956 by the late John Chambers, a civil engineer.  We started from a small site office on Waterside North in Lincoln: with a staff of 4 we carried out construction work trading as Lindum Construction (Lindum is the Roman name for Lincoln). 

Today, we trade as Lindum Group Ltd, we directly employ 500 people, have a turnover of £80 million and work nationwide from offices in Lincoln, Grimsby, Spalding, Peterborough and London. The Group consists of 14 trading divisions, which report to an executive board, Chaired by David Chambers. 

We believe that the 'Difference is Our People' and, appropriately, we began the New Millennium as 1 of only 46 companies in the country 100% owned by its employees (460 of our employees are share holders in the company).  This, we believe, means that clients receive a caring, highly motivated, customer friendly and co-operative service, before, during and after projects complete.
