Based in Lincoln, Lindum Plant is one of the County's leading Plant Hire specialists.  Our comprehensive service ranges from providing small tools up to 23 tonne 'tracked' excavators.  Equipment for hire includes operated as well as non-operated.

In addition to Plant hire, we provide the largest Plant and Fleet Servicing Facility in Lincolnshire - we maintain the fire engines and associated equipment for the Lincolnshire Fire Brigade, we support Securicor and Powergen and we provide 24/7 emergency and maintenance cover for all Transco Equipment (and fleet) in Lincolnshire and another 4 counties besides.

Hire Desk

We carry a wide range of operated and self drive equipment for hire, all our operatives are experienced, CITB certificated and trained to a high standard.  Our hire-stock includes Access Equipment, Teleporters and JCB excavators, including a 23 tonne tracked machine - as well as a range of mini-diggers and dumpers.

Haulage

We have a LGV fleet of rigid and articulated lorries with cranes and extendable trailers, tippers and a concrete pump.  We are specialists at moving steel, timber, cabins and heavy machinery (up to 80 tonnes) anywhere in the country.  Our most memorable transport to date has been the transport of a speed-boat designed to follow the legendary Bluebird in trying to set a new water speed world record on Lake Coniston.

Plant Workshop-Small Tools

We stock a complete range of small tools for use by the DIY enthusiast up to everything a construction company could need – this includes drills, generators, compressors and mixers.  We also supply and erect Trad Decking - a H&S approved safety decking system for the construction industry.

Vehicle Workshops

Our vehicle workshops have the facilities to service cars, light commercials and LGVs of all makes and models.  We have a team of experienced fitters who, with the aid of computerised diagnostic equipment, can service and maintain any vehicle.  We are a licensed MOT station for cars (class 4) small commercials (class 7) and minibuses (class 5).  Other classes of vehicles can be prepared here and taken for MOT.  Our fully equipped break-down and recovery vehicles are on call and we offer a delivery and collection service!

Tyre Bay

We have a comprehensive range of stock for cars, vans, plant and LGVs.  Computerised 4 wheel alignment/telemetry and our fully equipped van is on hand for roadside/site repairs. No obligation quotes are available.
