Project Details
The building comprises space for two facilities, one a training centre for the food processing industry for the University of Lincoln and the other a lettable unit for businesses associated with the food industry.
The design and construction of the building is rated BREEAM Very Good.
Procured through a 2 stage route, the Lindum team was able to contribute at an early stage in the selection and appointment of the specialists and subcontractors and to influence the design from a buildability point of view.
The innovative design and interesting use of colour and materials proved a challenge for the construction team. The contrast of the natural cedar boarding at the side of the aluminium panels in varying shades of green look stunning upon entry to the Technology Park.
Completed on time and on budget including the additional works of fitting out the lettable unit enabled both properties to be occupied immediately on completion.
