Project Details
The site was in a particularly sensitive location, sharing the access with an operational LIDL supermarket. Lindum quickly acted to establish a good relationship and was actually able to negotiate use of an area of their car park for the site set-up and agreed to minimise all disturbances to their business. Lindum implemented strict Health and Safety procedures to minimise the risk of accidents occurring and any disruptions to local people and businesses
On completion in May 2009, the building provides 40 shared ownership and 35 rented one and two-bed apartments to a high standard of finish. The delivery of this project in forty four weeks is testimony to Lindum’s ability to react quickly and make key decisions whilst interpreting, incorporating and exceeding the Client’s requirements.
With the help and knowledge of our in-house EcoHomes Assessor and careful design we were able to raise the “Good” BREEAM score to a “Very Good” score, thus fulfilling our Client’s funding requirements.
