Where craftsmenship counts [edit]

Have you ever spent hours or even days trying to find a local Company who can provide you with the perfect product, made by craftsmen who understand how to shape wood from a raw piece of timber into your own individual piece of furniture which will give you pleasure for many years.
If you have, you'll know how difficult it is, but a well kept secret about to be released to the public is the hive of activity which comprises the Joinery Division of long established local construction Company, the Lindum Group.

As part of the Lindum Group of Companies, the craftsmen who are part of the LG Joinery team take great pride and care in offering not just run of the mill pieces of work, but bespoke joinery products, such as sash windows and heritage doors - all skilfully crafted to seamlessly blend in with original pieces in a client's home. With great care, craftsmanship and attention to detail, individual items are produced that remain in keeping with an older building.  Previous commissions have included working in churches (both ancient and modern) and listed buildings, where one of the main requirements, along with outstanding workmanship, is for new joinery work to be totally sympathetic to the original building structure.

Coming bang up to date, LG Joinery is also able to offer modern kitchen design incorporating high tech finishes, such as granite work tops and stainless steel counters.

Even more popular are their purpose built offices for the home, where perhaps you need to incorporate plenty of file storage into a small space, with more and more people appreciating the benefits of working from home in a properly organised environment.

In addition to the heritage pieces, kitchens and home offices, their full order book also consists of individual pieces of joinery, such as reception counters for health centres, hotels and offices.  Perhaps one of the reasons why LG Joinery is not so well known is the fact that they do not have a shop or a high street presence, but it only takes a phone call from you to be invited to see the work that goes on in the 12,000 sq ft workshop at North Hykeham, including finished products and pieces under construction. In a way it is even better than visiting a shop or showroom as any of the skilled craftsmen will be able to show you the quality of the piece they are working on, and the meticulous work that goes on before a product is finally completed.

If you are unable to visit, Paul Brown, LG Manager, would be delighted to visit you at home or at your business premises to discuss individual requirements. Paul can be contacted on 01522852521/01522 852520.email at joinery@lindumgroup.co.uk or see more at www.lindumgroup.com.
