Charity Ladies Day

In line with Royal Ascot’s Ladies Day, Lindum held it’s very own inaugural Ladies’ Day charity picnic luncheon on Thursday 1 June on the lawn in the grounds of Lindum Business Park.

Posh frocks and an array of head dress creations were on show with stiff competition for the prestigious ‘best hat’ award. Mrs Sue Chambers [the chairman’s much better half!] kindly judged the competition and presented the winning prize to Janette Miller from Lindum Homes.
The Ladies’ event, which was the idea of Lindum’s IT Department’s Mandy Glover, raised £359 from donations and a raffle. This amount was matched by Lindum, making a total of £718 donated to the local branch of Macmillan Cancer Support.
