New Year, New Appointments

New Year, New Appointments

12th January 2012

Lindum is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Flower as Managing Director of their Peterborough based operation, Lindum Sturgeon, turnover £12 Million.

Matthew joined Lindum in 2002 as a Quantity Surveyor. After spending 7 years in the Construction Division as Construction Manager he spent some time as Commercial Manager at Peterborough before moving to head up the Lindum Waste Recycling Division where he made a great success of integrating the division into the Group and servicing our customers.

Matthew Flower said: “I am delighted by my appointment and am looking forward to working with the great team we have at the Peterborough Office.
It’s an exciting time as our new offices on Newark Road are scheduled to open in April so this will increase our profile in the area and be a platform for us to expand our operation further in and around Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.”

KGM Roofing, Lindum Plant and Brook & Mayo Electrical Contractors will also be joining Sturgeon on the newly formed Lindum Business Park at Peterborough.

Sturgeon are already well known in the Peterborough area for the quality of their build projects and in addition Matthew will be looking to expand operations further and work in conjunction with KGM Roofing.

Taking over from Matthew, as General Manager of Lindum Waste Recycling Division, is Jonathan Sizer who has been with Lindum for 12 years, most recently as Managing Surveyor for the Construction division. He is looking forward to taking on this new challenge and intends to continue with the progress already underway and, by using his own wealth of experience and expertise across a broad spectrum of construction related activities, further develop and expand the Waste Management and Recycling operation along with Lindum’s Green agenda.
