St Francis School Students leave their mark

Students at St Francis Special School in Lincoln have been admiring three very impressive decorative wall panels, created by themselves, which now have pride of place at the school. These are the result of an arts project, sponsored by Lindum and led by t
Bo Meacher, art teacher at St Francis School, said “This has been a very rewarding and stimulating experience for our students. We were delighted to be part of this project which entailed working with different glazes and textures. Students worked to their own ability to produce tiles using line and texture. Together with Peter’s special glazes, the results are stunning. The experience has proved to be very beneficial to all those involved. The wonderful artworks now adorning our walls as a result of this project will be appreciated by all for many years to come.”
During October and November of this year, the largest of these panels will be on display in The Hub Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford as part of Peter’s major retrospective exhibition. Following this the panels will be returned to St Francis School.
