Chairman

It is with great pleasure that I can report a strong trading year for Lindum in our last set of audited accounts, in what has been, and continues to be, a difficult economy.

We continue to grow in a stable manner. In 2010, turnover was up 13pc to £76m,  Group profit up 12pc to £3.127m and the net worth of the Group increased from £24.8m to £26.3m.

It is particularly pleasing to report that our workforce is steady, with, importantly, a significant number of our employees owning, and benefitting from, shares in the Group and our success in general.

Lindum has been in construction and related businesses for 55 years and we have to thank a steady stream of tremendous employees, who remain practical with good common sense, so that Lindum continues to be able to solve a client’s problem effectively. As a result we do have good, long standing, as well as new, relationships with clients, relationships which are based on trust and reliability and knowing that we will go the extra mile whenever we can.
