Lindum still the best in the UK

Lindum still the best in the UK

Lindum has been named as one of the Top 10 companies in the UK to work for in the prestigious Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work for list in 2010.

Beating off stiff opposition from 964 companies which involved surveying over 230,000 employees’ opinions, Lindum is delighted to be ranked 10th in The Sunday Times Best Mid-sized Companies to Work For Award 2010.

Entry to the competition is based on confidential employee feedback via questionnaires – so employees get the chance to say what they really think and it is apparent that the employees of Lindum think that it is a great place to work!

Nick Hammond, who started work with Lindum over six years ago as a Trainee Estimator and is now Commercial Manager for Small Works, was one of the ten Lindum Group employees who attended the Awards Ceremony held in London on 25th February. He said “Although Lindum is a fairly big company, the general feeling is that we operate as a small team which gives everyone a sense of ownership and pride in our work, as well as being committed to the ongoing success of the company.”

Kevin Damarell, a Director at Lindum said: “10th place is brilliant.  We are especially pleased to have achieved national Top 10 status again this year, and still be the best in Lincolnshire. As this employee survey has been conducted during difficult economic conditions within the construction industry, it is credit to our company’s established culture and positive attitude.”

Jonathan Austin, Founder & CEO of Best Companies Ltd said “All organisations on the list should be truly proud that their employees and colleagues recognise them as a ‘Best Company to Work For’.”
