We follow a stringent Environmental Management System (EMS) that provides the basis for planning, implementing, checking, measuring and reviewing the sustainability aspects of our operation to achieve direct CO2 Emission Reductions.
The scope of the EMS covers Social, Economic and Environmental perspectives. Our action plan to implement the EMS also includes engagement with our suppliers. The development of the plan included a detailed waste mapping exercise, the measurement of waste including solid, liquid, gaseous and energy and most importantly the calculation of the real cost of waste.
